Windows 10 not booting after update october 2019 free

During an update it froze for hours. I powered it off, and Windows would no longer boot. I have tried everything from, creating a bootable media drive, the recovery drive, and nothing works.

F11 recovery does not work. It just goes to an Automatic Repair screen and freezes. Powering off 3 times does not bring up a troubleshoot screen, and only freezes again. I have reset the BIOS and nothing. The system test have shown all the hardware pass.

The closest I've seen an actual boot is when I disable secure boot, an try to boot through legacy settings in the BIOS, but all I get I a Windows logo screen in a frozen state.

I was very excited for the new system, and I have a lot of work to do. I have searched through the internet and tried all the options, and nothing. This is the second time I've set up a new HP system in the past few weeks, and have had crash issues.

I don't know what else to do. Tech support ran me through options and nothing worked. I am supposed to expect a call from a specialist, or something to that nature, but I'm not sure what to expect. I need help.. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Yes, I disabled all the boot devices except the USB. It goes straight to the USB to boot. If I boot it in legacy mode, I finally get the Windows logo but it stays frozen.
